Luke Simon Jordan

Luke Jordan worked for McKinsey & Company in Shanghai from 2007 to 2010, and the World Bank in New Delhi from 2011 to 2014. After returning to South Africa in 2014, he has advised local and national government, and recently founded Grassroot, a non-profit technology start-up.

Luke Patey

Luke Patey is a senior researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies and author of The New Kings of Crude: China, India, and the Global Struggle for Oil in Sudan and South Sudan (London: Hurst, 2014).

Cayley Clifford

Cayley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Political Science, Legal Studies and German) and an Honours Degree in International Relations from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is currently studying towards a Master’s Degree in International relations at Wits University.

Richard Milburn

Richard Milburn is a research co-ordination and PhD candidate at the Marjan Centre for the Study of Conflict and Conservation in King’s College London’s Department of War Studies.

Jessica van Onselen

Jessica van Onselen is an independent consultant who works on political risk and policy advisory in mining.
