Do you have what it takes to join our diverse, multi-disciplinary team or contribute to our research? We accept applications for fellowships and internships year-round, and regularly put out calls for research submissions.
No jobs are available at the moment.
We invite article submissions and special issue proposals for upcoming volumes of our South African Journal of International Affairs.
Fellowships and internships
Our Bradlow Fellowship Programme is open to senior researchers and academics looking to conduct research on a topic of international relations related to South Africa and Africa’s place in the world.
This programme provides successful candidates with the opportunity of enrolling for a Masters degree by course work in International Relations, Development Studies, Political Science, Economics, Law or Journalism at Wits, while simultaneously working at SAIIA. Applications for 2019 now open.
We consider unsolicited proposals from Masters and PhD students looking to do work on Africa’s engagement with the world. These exchanges generally need to be self-funded.
