Implications of SA pulling out of the ICC

The South African government would still be obligated to arrest President Vladimir Putin regardless of the decision to pull out of the International Criminal Court (ICC). In this SAFM interview, SAIIA’s Head of the African Governance and Diplomacy Programme, Steven Gruzd, says it takes 12 months for a country to complete its withdrawal and be officially removed as a member.
