BRICS+6: A new world energy order?

The 2023 BRICS Summit in Johannesburg saw the addition of six members, including three energy powers – Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iran. In this interview with Ubuntu Radio, SAIIA’s Climate Change Policy Researcher Jordan Mc Lean says energy is one critical area that the BRICS countries would ramp up cooperation on.
