AU summit unlikely to make progress on DRC

The AU summit in Addis Ababa is meant to be the next stage in regional efforts to halt the worsening conflict in the DRC.

In this interview, Stephanie Wolters, senior research fellow at the South African Institute of International Affairs, tells Reuters that “this is the most serious crisis in Africa right now” and that it was time for the AU to show its strength.
