The South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), in partnership with the Australian High Commission in South Africa, is pleased to invite you to participate in the G20 Roadshow – a nationwide initiative visiting five provinces across the country.
This exciting programme aims to:
- Mobilise young people to engage with G20-related issues, particularly the key priorities identified by the South African government.
- Raise awareness of the G20 process and equip youth with the skills and knowledge to participate in global policy discussions.
- Encourage active involvement in the Youth20 (Y20) South Africa Engagement Group and the broader Youth@SAIIA Youth Policy Committee.
What to expect:
- Keynote address by G20 experts.
- Panel discussion featuring dynamic youth voices.
- Interactive engagement session designed for meaningful youth participation.
Students will be invited to submit a short research paper on a G20-related topic. The best paper could be presented at the T20 Summit in 2025 and potentially published on leading platforms.
