Kwakhanya Max is pursuing a Master’s in Development Studies at the University of Cape Town. She holds an Honours degree in International Relations, with an academic background in politics, sociology, and transnational affairs. She is committed to advancing development and human rights in Africa through the intersection of research, policy and practice.
Her research engages questions of development trajectories, governance and cooperation in the Global South.
Her work experience spans qualitative research and analysis, programme facilitation, communications, community engagement and youth empowerment. She has been placed with SAIIA’s Futures Programme.
