Ngelekanyo holds an Honours degree in Environmental Studies and is currently completing a Master’s in Environmental Science at the University of Witwatersrand.

A dedicated environmental science professional, she is passionate about challenging community perceptions around the health and wellbeing impacts of poor air quality and dust pollution in Johannesburg.

As an intern with SAIIA’s Youth Programme (Youth@SAIIA), she supports air quality awareness campaigns, stakeholder engagement and event coordination and monitoring.
