Branding Guidelines

This page provides the official guidelines, specifications and files required to ensure SAIIA’s visual identity is represented accurately and consistently across all platforms. Below, you can download high-resolution logo files for specific use cases.

Important Notice: SAIIA’s name and logo are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Use of our logo or any brand assets is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of the Institute.

This version includes the Institute’s full name and is reserved for large-scale physical collateral, such as banners, backdrops and event signage. To ensure maximum visibility and maintain visual integrity, always leave sufficient clear space around the logo.

Logo construction and clear space

It is important to keep corporate marks clear of any other graphic elements. To regulate this, an exclusion zone has been established around the corporate mark. This exclusion zone indicates the closest any other graphic element or message can be positioned in relation to the mark; they have a fixed relationship that should never be changed in any way.

Construction

Clear space

To work out the clear space that should be left around the logo, use the letter ‘A’ from the logo typeface as a reference.

Keeping the logo consistent

Preferred size

Scale should always be considered when using the SAIIA logo. For the sake of legibility, the logo should never appear smaller than the minimum size shown on this page.

32mm – minimum size.

47mm – A4 page.

Default logo for web usage

A simplified logo without the full name of the Institute has been created for use on the web. This version should always be used in web and social media contexts.

Partner logos

Please maintain the mandatory clear space around the SAIIA logo whenever it is co-branded alongside partner logos.

Always keep the logos equal in size and bottom aligned.

If the logo is vertical, keep it visually similar in size to the SAIIA logo and use the letter “A” from the SAIIA logo to set your boundary line.

Download logo files

Each file format is optimised for a specific use case. Download the version that matches your needs.

JPG

Use JPG files in Microsoft Office and similar programs. Do not scale or enlarge these files, as stretching will reduce image quality and cause pixelation.
