As part of his visit to Africa in July, Dr. Wadephul reflected on current global challenges and Germany’s perspective on the evolving international landscape. He discussed the role of middle powers in responding to crises, the importance of international cooperation, and opportunities to deepen South African-German collaboration.
The keynote address was followed by a discussion moderated by the Deputy Chair of SAIIA’s National Council, Mr. Kuseni Dlamini, which allowed attendees to engage with the issues raised and exchange perspectives.
