Drawing on Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney’s remarks at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January, High Commissioner for Canada in South Africa, James Christoff, spoke to the areas where Canada has been compelled to focus time and resources in pursuit of immediate economic and security priorities.
He unpacked some of the sectors where Canada and South Africa might best work together in the spirit of middle power alignment to achieve mutual benefit.
