In partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Transformation Research Unit at Stellenbosch University, we invite you to the book launch of Democracy under Threat – A Crisis of Legitimacy?

Building on nearly two decades of studying democracy across major global cultures, this book addresses some of the most pressing questions of our time: Is democracy threatened by globalisation? Is there a legitimacy crisis in contemporary democracies? Is the welfare state under pressure from global trends? What are the implications of mass migration and rising populism? Does authoritarianism pose a challenge?

Please RSVP by 14 September.
