In 2021 Poland and South Africa celebrated 30 years of diplomatic relations. These two nations cooperate in the areas of trade, investment, culture and science. Their framework for cooperation is underpinned by the Intergovernmental Agreement on Economic Cooperation signed in October 2013 and several other sectoral agreements and Memoranda of Understanding. This joint event, hosted by SAIIA and the Embassy of Poland, will outline areas for enhanced cooperation between the two countries for the next decade. The speakers’ panel will include:

- A representative from the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (TBC).
- Ms Elizabeth Sidiropoulos, Chief Executive at SAIIA.
- Dr Jędrzej Czerep, Senior Analyst at the Polish Institute of International Affairs.
