Dr Samkharadze is the Chairperson of Foreign Relations Committee, Parliament of Georgia and the Chair of the General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions of the Permanent Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
He is also currently the professor at the National Defence Academy of Georgia as well as an Associate Professor at Tbilisi State University. Previously, he was the Border Management Programmes Manager at UNDP. He achieved his PhD in International Relations from Tbilisi State University.
