Ireland’s Future and Relations with South Africa

SAIIA Western Cape invites you to an evening with Ireland's Ambassador to South Africa, Austin Gormley, who will discuss the political, economic, cultural and people-to-people dimensions of the relationship between Ireland and South Africa.

He will speak about Ireland’s role within the European Union; the relationship with the UK as well as shared-island cooperation.  He will also touch on challenges of climate change and of conflict internationally.

Cost

  • Entrance is free for SAIIA members
  • Visitors pay R80; students pay R20

Refreshments will be served before the event.
