SAIIA extends a public invitation, especially to students, to join us for this pertinent discussion on social justice with Advocate Paul Hoffman.

As South Africa enters the post-dominant party era, a central question concerning the future trajectory of the country is the need to address the issues of poverty, inequality and unemployment in a way that rapidly brings about the social justice that a better life for all entails.

Advocate Paul Hoffman, director of Accountability Now, will address the issues arising from the culture of grand corruption with impunity that plagues progress in South Africa and impacts negatively on social justice.

His book, titled Under the Swinging Arch, explores the courts’ struggle to achieve an effective and efficient anti-corruption system in South Africa. Appendix Six is relevant to the topic for discussion at this event.

We look forward to your attendance and participation.
