Expectations for the BRICS under the chairmanship of Russia in 2024

As Russia begins its BRICS chairmanship for 2024, comments from South Africa’s Minister Naledi Pandor suggest that Moscow has already received written interest from 34 countries that want to join the bloc. SAIIA’s leading experts are available for interviews in person or virtually. We can also arrange for press to conduct interviews on-site at our headquarters in Johannesburg or at our Cape Town office.
