Focus on South Africa’s foreign policy

South Africa’s foreign policy has come under public scrutiny in recent times. This is mainly due to the country’s stance towards solidifying relations with bodies such as BRICS and prioritising its relationship with Russia while moving away from the US as a superpower. SAIIA’s Senior Researcher under the African Governance and Diplomacy Programme, Gustavo de Carvalho, participated in Power FM’s panel to discuss the evolution of the country’s foreign policy.
