Senior South African government officials say the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which accuses Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and 13 other leaders of inciting deadly violence against Palestinians, is aimed at ending the country’s institutionalised impunity. The US has slammed the case as meritless and without basis.
