Israel rejects a ceasefire and hostage deal with Hamas

There are still very limited prospects for an end to the fighting and the Israeli actions in Gaza after the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the peace terms offered by Hamas. In this interview with SAfm, SAIIA’s head of the African Governance and Diplomacy Programme, Steven Gruzd, says conditions and experience created as a result of Netanyahu’s determination to see the war through are incubating new fighters.
