Russia-Ukraine war: African peace mission-led talks

The South African presidency says they’ve been working behind closed doors with both Russian and Ukrainian leaders on a peace plan that is part of the African Peace Mission to bring an end to conflict between the two countries. SAIIA’s Senior Researcher, Gustavo De Carvalho, participated in a live discussion on Newzroom Afrika, to unpack developments around the war and the peace mission by African leaders.
