SA applied for President Putin’s arrest warrant

The Department of Justice has admitted it had already forwarded a request for a local arrest warrant for Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. In this interview with Newzroom Afrika, SAIIA’s Senior Researcher Gustavo De Carvalho says this was an important development to ensure that South Africa still upholds the legal treaty that it has signed.
