South Africa’s APRM country review launched

The South Africa Second Generation Country Review Report was launched at the 20th anniversary celebrations of the African Peer Review Mechanism held in Johannesburg. In this Radio 702 interview, SAIIA’s head of the African Governance and Diplomacy Programme, Steven Gruzd, says South Africa has been reviewed twice but adds that often countries ignore most of the recommendations made by the reports.

SAIIA’s leading experts are available for interviews in person or virtually. We can also arrange for press to conduct interviews on-site at our headquarters in Johannesburg or at our Cape Town office.
The views expressed are those of the interviewees and do not necessarily reflect the views of the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA).
