Mbali Mhlongo is now a first year BCom student at the University of the Witwatersrand. As a learner at Kiriyatswane Secondary School in eMbalenhle, Mpumalanga she was an active participant of the Institute’s Environmental Sustainability Project and Model UN programme. In December 2018, Mbali and her teammates won the Best Delegation Gold Award at the 2018 SAIIA Young Researchers Symposium. She is now a member of the Youth Policy Committee.
