Dr Priviledge Cheteni is a researcher focusing on climate change and natural resources. He has a PhD in Economics from North West University and holds a Master’s in Agricultural Economics. He furthered these studies with courses in Policy, Projects and Programmes for Development, New Venture Creation and The Economics of European Integration: Agricultural, Rural and Regional Policy Analysis from the Wageningen University in the Netherlands. He holds a certificate in Energy-Related Systems from the University of Cape Town. His research interests include agriculture, climate change, food security and renewable energy in addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr Cheteni is actively involved in public engagement and policy advocacy.
