Siyakudumisa Zicina holds an Honours Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Political Transformation from the University of the Free State. His honours research focused on the rise of extremism in Northern Mozambique. He is currently a master’s candidate specialising in International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand. His research interests include violent extremism, resource curse in Africa and South Africa’s foreign policy. Siyakudumisa is currently working under the office of the Chief Executive at SAIIA.
