Thelma Obiakor is a Research Fellow at CSEA. She is an expert evaluator in the fields of Economics, Education, and Finance. Her work is situated in the nexus between research, evaluation, policy and practice, with a critical lens on gender-inclusive development. She supports international donor organisations and government agencies in gathering evidence and collecting data to inform decision making and conducts rigorous results-based evaluations to measure the impact of their work. She also offers training in Results-Based Management (RBM), including Monitoring and Evaluation. Most recently, she completed an investigative study on readiness of the Ministries of Budget and National Planning, Health, and Water Resource in Nigeria, to build and sustain a Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System. She also has expertise in designing gender responsive research studies and in utilizing gender-sensitive research methodologies.
