On 19 August, Youth@SAIIA and the Australian High Commission hosted the G20/Y20 Roadshow at Wits University in Johannesburg, where students called for their voices to be heard in shaping global affairs and governance. SAIIA Chief Executive, Elizabeth Sidiropoulos, shared insights from the event in an interview with SABC News. The G20 Roadshow initiative aims to connect young people with the G20 process while highlighting South Africa’s priorities during its presidency.
