Adrian Joseph is a former Konrad Adenauer Foundation Scholar at SAIIA

Adrian Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Cape Town. During his time at UCT he achieved a runner-up place in the 2020 Nedbank Budget Speech Competition in the undergraduate category for his essay on land reform in South Africa. He has also written several articles for respected publications on issues ranging from resource governance to democratic transitions. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in International Relations at UCT. His research interests include international political economy, resource governance on the African continent and sustainable development. Adrian worked under the Climate Change and Resource Governance Programme at SAIIA.
