The Elcano Global Presence Index is an annual measurement of the effective positioning in absolute terms of 110 countries based on three dimensions (economic, military and soft). This is the 6th year that Elcano is producing the Report. The 2018 Report has a special focus on the global presence of African countries.

Iliana Olivié, Senior Analyst at the Elcano Royal Institute and Lecturer at the Department of Applied and Structural Economics and History at the Complutense University in Madrid. She coordinates the International Cooperation & Development research area and the Elcano Global Presence Index Project.
Manuel Gracia Santos, Analyst on the Elcano Global Presence Index project, in which he has participated since 2012, and Associate Professor in the Department of Applied and Structural Economics and History at the Complutense University in Madrid.
