Death toll increases in Palestine following Israeli air strikes

The world’s attention has been fixed on Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip for the past two weeks. According to the United Nations, the number of people killed in Gaza has exceeded 5,000 amid intensifying Israeli airstrikes in response to Hamas attacks. In this SAFM interview, SAIIA’s African Governance and Diplomacy Programme Head, Steven Gruzd, discusses the Israeli government’s war strategy following the 7 October attacks.
