As SAIIA enters its 80th anniversary year, we are delighted to share some improvements to the SAIIA website, www.saiia.org.za.

We have listened carefully to feedback from our users, and there are two exciting new features of the website we encourage you to try: advanced filtering and automatic updates.

Advanced content filtering

You can now quickly and easily find content that corresponds to your interests. You can browse all our materials by topic, region or programme. Simply click on the Research button on the menu to see all the options drop down. For example, if you are interested in climate change you can simply click on that topic (see image below).

You can also do the same thing at any time by clicking on the headings in the Main Menu box. This box also has a list of individual countries, which will help you if you are looking for information on a specific country (see image below).

Once you click on a choice, such as the topic climate change, a page will display listing all the articles for that topic (see image below).

You can even filter this further, by choosing to see only those climate change materials that relate to Tanzania, or Latin America, or which are in a Multimedia format (see image below).

Automatic content updates

You can now choose to receive automatic updates any time new material of interest to you is uploaded to the SAIIA website. As above, simply click on the Research button on the menu to see all the options drop down. For example, if you are interested in climate change you can simply click on that topic (see image below).

When your chosen page appears simply click on the “Get Email Updates” button to the right-hand side (see image below).

You can unsubscribe from this any time you please, and you can subscribe to as many interest areas as you like.

We hope this makes the SAIIA website a more useful resource for you. We welcome any feedback you might have on the changes, and your suggestions on how we could do to further improve your experience. Please email us on info@saiia.org.za at any time.
