This third report examines the Chilean economic success, which has earned the country the reputation of being the anchor of stability in Latin America. Its success story is applicable to African countries and its strategic plan has ensured sustainable economic growth and greatly improved socio-economic conditions. According to the writer, the secret of the country’s success has been pragmatic thinking, which has been carried through to policy formulation and implementation.
