“Everyone knows what xenophobia is. The word often appears in the headlines of the print and electronic media. Hardly anyone uses the word Xenophilia. The words are derived from the word Xenos in Greek. It means stranger, visitor or guest. Everyone knows what Phobia means. Philia means friendship as used in the word philanthropy. I would urge the adoption of a new aphorism: Yes to xenophilia and no to xenophobia.”
