Doha Forum 2025: BRICS, GCC, and Evolving Relations for a Changing Global Order

SAIIA participated in the Doha Forum from 6 to 7 December 2025 in Qatar.

Gustavo de Carvalho, Senior Researcher in SAIIA’s African Governance and Diplomacy Programme, moderated a panel examining how the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and BRICS – as two influential blocs – are advancing connectivity frameworks that shape the geopolitical and economic order.
