Isabel holds a BA degree with majors in Political Studies and International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand (2018). In 2019 she completed her Honours degree (with distinction) in Political Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. She completed a Masters of Arts in Political Studies at Wits University in 2020, with her thesis focusing on biometrics and how it is changing the way we define “the people”. Her research interests include electronic voting and election technologies – including biometrics, the nexus between technology and politics, energy governance as part of her anticipated role in the Atoms 4 Development project and a range of theoretical concepts.
